Send in your Tiramisu review

Tiramisu reviews for restaurants across Singapore from the great Heavenly Tiramisu site visitors.

  1. CHANGI, 10: Porta Porta, far east end of Changi Island, phone 545-3108. (I stumbled upon Porta Porta quite by accident. It is totally out of the way, and practically nobody goes there. Not to mention the restaurant is across the road from our largest correctional facility (i.e., prison). Anyway, entering the restaurant is like walking into the dining room in a friend’s home. There are only 10 tables, and it is run by an Italian marble dealer [from the south of Italy, and proud of it], and his Singaporean wife. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING on the menu is authentically homemade! So don’t be surprised if the Tiramisu you have today tastes a tad different from the one you had last week! [I know my own concoctions are seldom consistent.] But you should taste the stuff they serve! Out of this world! This one’s a perfect 10. All you Singaporeans out there, go check it out, okay? But call for a reservation first!) — Angiefm”
  2. SINGAPORE, 10: Esmerada, Peranakan Place, Orchard Road, Singapore 65. — Swimcraze
  3. SINGAPORE, 10: La Forketta, South Bouna Vista Centre. (It simply melts in your mouth. A little restaurant tucked away in barely noticeable puny mall. It’s definately the best I’ve tasted in Singapore, not even the one in Porta Porta tests as good.) — Weili
  4. SINGAPORE, 9: Hooked on Pasta, Suntec City Mall (The restaurant sits on a somewhat lonely third floor of Suntec City Mall, right opposite Courts. I was working there as a part-time waitress during my holidays, and I’ve tried the Tiramisu … and I couldn’t find another café/restaurant that can offer a Tiramisu that is even half as good!!) — ReniKaeth
  5. SINGAPORE, 9: Pasta Fresca, 6th Ave. (The best Tiramisu I’ve tasted. Still lust for it after living in Los Angeles for 7 years. I remember the place as a “labor-of-love” type venture between an Italian transplant and his Singaporean wife. Heard that his business has taken off somewhat. The Tiramisu literally melts in your mouth — as good as it gets, cuz I don’t believe in scoring a 10 for anything. Somewhere out there is a better Tiramisu, but take my word for it, you’ll be hard-pressed to find it.) — Kelvin Yew
  6. SINGAPORE, 9: Pete’s Place, Hyatt Hotel Basement. — “Carmel”
  7. Singapore, 9: Pontini’s, Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, 392 Havelock Rd., Singapore 169553. (Excellent alcohol and texture work. Unstructured – made as a blob on the plate – but clearly given sufficient time to mature at some point in the process. Good dark cocoa. Not too sweet. I’m hedging a nine because I ate this one last year and wasn’t thinking about ratings at the time, so I don’t want to give it a 10 on what might be rose-tinted memories!) – Greg Harewood
  8. SINGAPORE, 8: Al Forno, East Coast Rd. (It was one of the best I have tasted. I am still looking for the perfect “10.”) — Cindy Loh-Simon
  9. SINGAPORE, 8: Bice Ristorante, Goodwood Park Hotel, 22 Scotts Rd. — “Carmel”
  10. SINGAPORE, 8: Prego Italian Restaurant & Bar, 2 Stamford Rd, Singapore 178882. — Loh Lee Fung
